September 12, 2006 First and foremost, I would like to thank my close friends and family, as well as the voters of this District, that have stood by my side during this long and difficult primary campaign. However, the majority has spoken and another candidate has emerged victorious. While I am naturally disappointed in this result, I accept the decision of the voters.
